Translation please

Can somebody please translate that for me so I can tell what the specs are on that thing??:p
Does it have a strobe option?

Besides the Bling foctor, whis is nice I guess, LED's are great for reducing the load on the stator allowing you to run more "goodies" like bigger lights and and hotter grips.

And what's the exchange rate on Euros these days??........ 59.95 EUR = what exactly?

I plugged that link into google and asked it to translate the page. As far as the conversion rate for the currency. At todays exchange rate 59.95 Euro is $77.70. Here is some of the details page that was translated by Google:

Description:

LED tail lamps at the motorcycle are a fine thing - better optics, security and durability, but in series there is the technology so far only isolated. Remedy now creates this vehicle-specific and properly matching LED taillight.

The standing and stop light function are taken over by LED's. The smaller current consumption of the LED's opposite conventional lamps relieves additionally your battery. In addition an absolute safety plus, since LED's address approx. 20mal faster than conventional lamps. Paired with an absolutely unmistakable Look at a favourable price.

The LED taillight simple against originals exchanged, thus also for the layman a children's game. We attach very great importance to high-quality quality of the used parts and a clean processing. That becomes already apparent when assembling. Depending upon vehicle model we use a compact plug that for the simple connection that originals correspond or a special Glühlampensockel you in place of your lamp use.

The LED taillight is E-examined and thus in the range of the STVO certified. An entry into the registration papers is not necessary.

BigT,
as for the $/€ rate: you are not wrong if you calculate with 1.3 (e.g. 1.0 Euro = 1.3 USD).

No strobe option mentioned.
Nor about the number of LEDs used.

The g translation is not so bad, the "· Suzuki V-river DL 650 · Suzuki V-river DL 1000" is funny though.

SmkyMtnVStrom,
use e-Bay instead of US importer.

I have a couple Led bulbs replacing the regular bulbs in the tail light. Also replaced the license plate light with a round LED trailer light to illuminate the plate and give me an extra tail/brake light. Mounts quite nicely to the flat spot on the fender after the original tail light is removed. Works very well and was about $30 if memory serves me correctly.

Actually, I would go so far as to say the Google translation is exceptional. Whatever program my employer in Frankfurt uses is a disaster: English is my first language and I usually have to resort to reading the original text because the "translated" version makes zero sense! Ok, sorry for the aside.

I just wanted to add that a strobe function is not allowed in Germany. If you want the strobe function an alternative would be to use this part in combination with the strobe-effect rear brake light sold by Touratech (also LED).

I want this light. Anybody found a U.S. vendor yet? It would be simple to just add a BackOFF strobe module.

Fourvalve.............done already. Go to testing grounds and look for Lynda Trying Again entry. Did not light it up cause I was just messin with the camera. But you will see the LED tail light and the brain dead position of the signals with Shad luggage racks. Will be hooking up a Brake light modulator when the Bat Cave gets warm enough to work in.

Hey NW,

I hope you know posting that means you must make a full riport including pics on the installation and the comparison and share it here! ;)

It looks much better than the stock IMO, but I am especially interested in the light force difference if any.

Very nice. Seems like we should petition Twisted Throttle to carry them. They import euromods for the strom. That way they can deal with customs.
