Can any of you with the oem luggage made since 2006 give me the blank number stamped on your key? I bought a set of bags online, and the keys fell out of the box during shipping. The dealer is doing their best, and I want to see if I can do something from this end, so any info would be great.

Thank you for looking. I have since found Givi keys are close match, if not exact. Guess I will go from there.

My locksmith said it would help if he could see the lock from inside the case. Anyone, please?

Hello tiller4me,
I'm having a similar problem. See my posting "OEM Saddlebag Blanks". I have yet to find a locksmith that can match the key blank. I'll check my givi keys to see if they will work. If you want to discuss in detail, send me a pm with your phone number.

I have a 02 Connie also = )

Bikeman, we may be in luck. I found a website, motorcyclekeys.com, that actually shows oem luggage key blanks for Vstrom luggage. I ordered 3 blanks for my luggage and I will keep you posted. The dealer I bought my bags from said Suzuki makes replacement locks, but they are backordered across the board. He has me 2 coming when they are available, but who knows when. So for now I will be attacking from this end.

Okay, here is where it stands. The key blanks I ordered were not the right ones, and my locksmith has drawn a zero trying to find the right blank. The blank I got is for a Givi lock, but it is not long enough. The dealer I bought the bags from has ordered new locks from Suzuki, but they are backordered for 2 months now and no end in sight. I could really use some help from a forum member right now. If anyone, who has the 2004 or earlier oem bags made by Givi for Suzuki, would take their key to a locksmith and have him match it to a blank I would be forever in your debt, as would bikeman. Otherwise, I might be until this time next year waiting for Suzuki to fill all backorders for luggage lock sets.
