.......it starting snowing! You talk about fun, cold, but fun, Star Wars 3D ain't got nothing on that! Especially when a flake hits your face shield right in front of your eye, it will make you jerk your head LOL.

I have been caught in hail a few times. It's ok if you don't have to turn. :)

Snow I avoid especially if its coming down fast enough to stick or build up slush.

The cold doesn't bother me. I find the bike a bit more of a beast when the air is cold. I guess everything is just a bit stiffer?

Here in Lenoir NC. We're getting some flurries blowing in from the higher elevations right now.
Down here south of Asheville, we're getting light flurries under sunny skies.

I've ridden in snowfall a couple of times, the visual effect of riding through the snow takes some getting used to.

Be careful.

Randyo,

Your riding season will start soon enough.

Mine's over, but not because of the weather.

I guess it depends on what you prefer to "ride" in the winter.... personally, I would like some snow here in Vermont for my SNOWMOBILE.... my Wee can wait till the spring-rains wash the salt off the roads.

Randy's riding season never ends. He's not as hardcore as Paul Mondor, but if he lived in Canada, he just might be.

I'm suggesting that his preferred riding season hasn't really begun because you can see the lines on the road in New Haumpshore.

What is this "riding season" you speak of? ;) I was in VA last week (by jet,not moto), and this strange white stuff started falling from the sky... it was very confusing.

(I'm the wimp that won't commute when it's raining or below 45F ;) )
