Hey all. I decided to get a Motohorn for my 1050 and figured I'd provide information for anyone else who may be looking to do it in the future.

I removed the fairing to gain access to the stock horn & wires. The stock horn connector didn't leave room for the new wires that go to the Motohorn relay, so I removed them from the black plastic housing and crimped everything together.

I don't use saddlebags so I decided to mount the mounting bracket there. I made 2 stand-offs out of plastic pipe to support the bracket, using a 60mm M6 bolt in the front and a 70mm one in the back (as the back space is deeper, the plastic stand-off was also longer), with the front bolt going through the front support of the horn & the bracket.

After that, I mounted the air compressor under the rear fender to the frame using a hose clamp and connected everything together. It is nice & loud :).

I would love to see some video of how motorists react when you hit the button on that monster.

I had to go see what this sounds like so I found a video where a guy mounted one on his Super Glide. It definitely sounds like a truck horn! I put a Sound Bomb on my 1050XT and love it. This is like Sound Bomb's big brother.
