Hi, when using one of those super glue for the handgrip, some of it fall on the tank paint and on the plastic the protect the tank. Did not see it when it and now it is hard. What can I use to remove it without doing any damaged. I use paint thinner on the tank and goo gone on the plastic but did not work.
Thanks

Paint thinners and acetone will very likely damage the paint.

I can't suggest anything that might work.

Whatever solvent you decide to use, try it on a small spot that is not visible on the bike - like a part of the tank that is covered by the plastic pieces but still has the paint you don't want to damage. Scrub away, just like you will do on the drops of glue and see if you damage the painted surface.

You might call the manufacturer (do a google search) and ask them what you can use. Or simply do a google search for solvents for cured crazy glue.

I have wet sanded a few places on my bike with an air sander and 2000 grit paper. Then hit it with two levels of polish and then wax. I just got done wet sanding the entire gel coat of my boat so I have a little practice at it.
