Sorry, stupid question I'm sure but I can find it using the search....

I need to move the throttle tube inward a smidgeon to install the Kaoko Throttle lock, and it doesn't seem to move after I loosen the various screws I see on the body assembly. Is it pinned?

As you can tell, I haven't really learned my way around my new Wee yet.

thanks,

You would need to remove the housing and grind off the tab that fits the hole in the bar. You could also shorten the throttle tube.

Well that doesn't sound like much fun.

...or perhaps I could insert a small spacer into the Kaoko Throttle Lock assembly to give me a tad more play.

Thanks for the info.

I had no problem on my '06 Wee. I believe you are supposed to adjust the position of the throttle lock relative to the tube, not the other way around.

That's what I did, Lordsmoke, though the directions specifically say to "remove the alignment pin." I think they're paranoid about lawsuits.

It works great on the highway!

Interesting. I certainly have no memory of doing any grinding. I will have to go check. I did find on a recent trip that my Kaoko didn't do so well with my new Oxford gripe. Kept slipping.
