I'm having trouble figuring out a way to cinch down my tank bag. I have a Nelson Riggs Silver Streak strap model.

http://www.amazon.com/dp/B000GRRWNK?smid=A2Y992VSW47X5F&tag=msnshop-auto-mp-20&linkCode=asn

It has two straps in front and one in back by the seat. I have no trouble with the strap by the seat, but I can't seem to find a good way to strap it in in front, the way I have it allows the bag so slide to the right or left quite a bit in the wind.

Anyone have any good ideas that work good for this?

Does it have just the 'loop' strap up front? My Cortech had a similar loop, which I cut in the middle, essentially giving me two front straps. I melted the cut ends to prevent fraying, then ran them back to the buckles, now creating two loops - a right and left.

I looped the straps around those horizontal struts down in the fairing, near the tank. That seems to keep things pretty steady.

I can try to get some pix if you need a visual.
