Hello,

I discovered  that the horn button (and starter button on the other side) of my K5 650 bike hit the fuel tank/cowling when just about at full-lock.

I'm afraid of locking the steering because I keep hitting the horn button on one side and the starter on the other. I also bash my hands against the tank when maneuvering in tight spaces like when parking.

What's the best way to adjust things to fix this? Rotate the handlebars or rotate the switch assemblies on the handlebars? The current handlebar position is relatively comfortable so I don't want to mess it up too much.

TIA,

Martin

Sorry, but your handlebars are out of position. Just rotate them forward enough to clear the tank and tighten everything back up.
