Hey folks,
I'm planning on taking a buddy up North through Sault Ste. Marie and then head over to Montreal before heading back through New York and back home. Tentatively planning a Sunday through Friday towards the end of July. Any route recommendations/tips and places to see and eat at would be greatly appreciated. I'm hoping that six days will be enough to do this loop.

Thanks in advance,
Kevin

Slabs or scenic?

I rode around Lake Huron a couple of years ago, and I think it's still there.

Michigan built some lovely and scenic highways that hug the west shore of that Great Lake, and I enjoyed riding along the shore from Mackinaw City to Rogers City, and also from Port Austin to Port Huron, southbound. I toured some well-maintained lighthouses, and camped at some fine state parks (I think that is the only kind of state park Michigan offers).

Or you can ride I-75 and you won't see a thing.

Enjoy your ride, and remember to bring your passport.
