It feels great to be on a V-Strom. I spent the last 4-years on a cruiser with my feet too far forward to even stand up. A few weeks ago I got a 2017 Wee XT and have had the most fun riding of my life.

I started riding in the early 1990s but marriage and young kids kept me away for a while. Now the kids are teens and my wife likes to ride pillion! Life is good.

I'm going on a charity ride this weekend. Come on if you're close.

My wife and I did the trip up to Blowing Rock and Grandfather Mountain this past week. The leaves were beautiful and the parkway a joy.

Hi Kevin -

I envy your location as you have quick access to some of the best riding in the country!

30 years ago I had a Katana 750 and then an FJ1200 while at UT Knoxville. Most weekends were spent on the Blue Ridge Parkway and other great roads in eastern TN and western NC.
