Help! Fairing connection??

I’m stupid. What gets pulled, pushed, or squeezed to separate this fairing connector?? I don’t want to foul it up. It looks obvious, but it ain’t acting so.
thanks!

Push in real hard on that little tab in the center. That rotates the plastic at its mounting point, lifting two little latches that are lower in this photo. There may be a corresponding tab on the other side of the connector.

Then be prepared for the connector to be just plain stuck from years of being in that position.

EDIT: looking at the photo again I'm less sure. Sorry.

Yeah, Im stopped by a simple thing, but don’t want to guess and break it. Maybe someone has the exact connection.
Thanks.
That one looks like a candidate for a small, pocket screwdriver. Run the blade tip underneath the center tab ( the strip of white in picture) and lift. Then gently separate connector. That's my story and I'm sticking to it!

That’ll do it?
If you do foul it up,Eastern Beaver has an exact replacement.Mine was corroded and the pins were falling apart.Be prepared to do a lot of wire crimping if that is your problem.
I was hoping that in the multiple tens of thousands of V Stroms someone would have separated it without issue.

I did once ..... about 45,000 miles ago. I remember it coming apart very slowly. Try drenching it in CRC or other electronics cleaner first. Put it together again packed with dielectric grease.
It’s not as much stuck as the procedure. To trip Pandora’s box.
I got it. Very small screwdriver under tab. More push in than pull up. Thanks guys!

I just checked on my 2007 Wee, you press on the tab marked with the red circle. You want to pull the connector apart as shown by the green and black arrows. There are some ridges located in the black circle for your thumb to get a grip. HTH.
