My name is Oscar and I live in southern Sweden.

I bought my Wee last summer in July and took my license in August. Rode a few weeks before winter. Been taking her out for commuting to my job 180km 3 days/week for a short while now. Below are some photos from last year!

1 owner before me and 12000km at purchase, I've but 2000km since then. This year I am looking forward to eliminate the wind buffeting and add some stuff from my wish list:
  • Motor guard
  • Crash guard
  • New mirrors (to eliminate buffeting)
  • Heated grips
  • Hand guard
  • Possibly Madstad mount + windscreen (to eliminate buffeting)
  • Extra headlights
  • Side-bags
  • Tank-bag
  • Phone holder with charger

My thoughts so far: First off, I am a bit biased since I've mostly been riding V-Strom, both 650 and 1000. I took my license with a 2022 Honda CB650R.

Super fun to ride "naked" with nothing on it. Very light and agile in the woods and on gravel. Cheap to commute with. The negative part, for me, is the wind buffeting which makes it unbearable on the highway. My friend who is a bit shorter than me has no wind at all on my Wee, interesting.

So, hello everyone! Excited to meet some likeminded friends :)

Hello and welcome!
That bike looks to be in great condition! But barely broken in with only 14000km on the meter!
I envy you for riding in Skåne, I am also from the originally, grew up in the northwest (Kullabygden/Jonstorp) and the roads are great!
I can recommend the Aprilia Dorsoduro 750 mirrors for reducing buffeting.

I ordered mirror extenders which supposedly help to eliminate buffeting. They arrived but one mirror wouldn't attach due to stripped threads with one of the ordered pieces. They're sending me another set of parts, so we'll see how well it works. If it works I'll have the original set available, but it'll have the part with the bad threads. I'll pass it along to anyone who might want it. Message me if interested. I'll keep that message in my inbox. First come, first served.....

Welcome. I eliminated the buffeting with a Madstad and Moose Racing Touring shield. I noticed you had it on your wish list.

A big welcome to Oscar! The red ones are great. Thinking of repainting my black one in red.

Hey Dado8, nice remake. Push that color saturation right up to 11. What software??

Thank you Solar, it's all done on my Android Note 10+ c/w stylus phone, free apps like; Photo Editor, Picsart, Lightroom, Point blur, Snapseed etc all user friendly and powerful.
Yeah I like to push the colors a bit :)
