I know this is an odd time of year to be talking about heated gear.
I was walking around my local hardware store the other day and noticed that they had a heated car seat on clearance for $9.00

I got to thinking that this would be easy to make into a heated bib similar to the one that Aerostich sell.
Aerostich Electric Warmbib - Kanetsu Electrics - Aerostich Suits :: Aerostich/RiderWearHouse Motorcycle Jackets, Suits, Clothing, & Gear
Can you see any problems/drawbacks? What do you think? Just thought it was a really cheap alternative to a heated vest/jacket.
It is approx. 17" x 13.5" and draws 22 watts.
Perhaps I should post this on the KLR forum....
