I have a DL1000 2009 and I noticed the other day that although both bulbs are on for dim, it seems like only the right one goes to bright? Both are 2 function bulbs I'm just surprised I never noticed this before or is one bulb in need of replacing? I have LED replacements and have for years. Its really hard to get my fat hands in there or I would just swap them to see what happens. Thought I'd ask first.

To clarify, the bulbs you have installed right now are LED or halogen? Either the high beam filament/element broke, the connection in the holder that powers it is fouled up, or there's a fault somewhere between the high beam switch and the affected holder.

I'd probably switch the bulbs around and see if the non-working high beam moves with the bulb.

I'm on team halogen forever.

Most likely the high beam of one has failed.
A while back I replaced my older H4 LED's with ballasts attached for the newer LED's which replicate the original bulbs, doing away with the extra wiring.
