...for now at least! I can see myself getting the 800 somewhere down the road, perhaps if the Wee poops out on me. So far I've taken it everywhere I would have taken the 800. I'm still not such an experienced rider that I'd even take the BMW for knarly off-road. The Wee gets you there with basically all the same options, and with better fuel range. Riding two-up is nice as well, even off-road. It's a versatile and comfortable bike to ride.

You bought the right bike first time around, the BMW would poop out loooong before the Wee ever will.

And the Wee will cost you far less to own and maintain than the BMW would as well [just look at my bank statements before and after I sold my last BMW, the Wee saved me bucket loads of dollars].

You may find the Wee ends up being a "keeper" :yesnod:

I've riddden both on the street. What you get with the BMW is more initial expense and potential failures.
The Wee does fine on the dirt in response to what tires you choose. Battle wings are easy to break loose.
It handles the twisties quite well and is fun to ride.
