Handlebar Risers in vstrom 1050 xt

i have installed handlebars risers on my 1050 xt. After 2500 km, I noticed that the steering wheel shakes quite a bit from the base. I checked all the screws and they are all tight. Does anyone else have the same problem with the risers? the local dealer when I asked said he didn't know. Some mechanics I contacted told me that I could remove the rubber washer and install a galvanized washer for more stability.
In the photo, the red line shows where the steering wheel moves .

Bolts too long?
the risers were placed on the easels without me interfering at all at this point

I hit 25500km on bike a few days ago and noticed, when off-roading, the tire is moving independent of the grips. Pretty sure the head bearing has finally stretched for me. Getting addressed today.

Perhaps it's just more noticeable with risers for you.

Factory handlebar risers are mounted on the triple tree, which I believe has rubber bushings that the risers are mounted into. This is to reduce vibrations being transmitted through the handle bars. When you put riser extensions on the factory risers you are increasing the leverage and thus will exacerbate any flex that exists. If the flex is too much you may need stiffer bushings installed.

No issues here without risers.

Do you not find the right hand cables and hose really really tight on full left lock with 2" risers.

I moved the cables/hydraulics to the rear side of the handlebar.

Another user put a riser in without moving the cables/hydraulics.

Did you have to reroute cables to get this to work? I would really like my bars to be up and back to really be comfortable. Rox risers would be perfect, but I haven't taken the plunge as I'm worried about having to go through the pain of rerouting all the cables and bleeding the brakes...although, it's probably time for them to be bled.

I answered it a few messages ago.

Did you try just tilting the handlebars forward by say 1/4 to a 1/2 inch before installing risers.
This can raise the bars at the grips without really moving them forward,
Not sure how bad your reach problem is.
This worked on my Super duke GT ( traded for 1050XT)
And am going to try it on my XT just to give a little more height.
