In an attempt to swap out handlebars, I've hit a snag at the right side throttle controls, opening the throttle housing reveals a very tight throttle cable that doesn't want to come out easily. Has anyone any advice?
Not exactly sure where your experiencing the tight fit, but, if you remove the housing, you should be able to turn the entire throttle assembly on the bar to gain some extra room/slack in the cable. Turning the wheel to the right, or rotating the handlebars towards the instrument cluster can also by an extra inch or so. I rotate the tube down to remove the upper cable, then up to remove the remaining cable.
