Found some calipers on Ebay, did the cleanup, kept the stock steel bolts, painted with Duplicolor Caliper Red. Contacted Blair at SV Racing Parts, ordered up a set of adapters. They arrived quickly, great finish and quality. this past weekend I installed them, it was a snap. Blairs advice was great. Highly recommended. Check out the pictures. 2. Also in the pictures are the custom tank bras I designed and make. They are held on with magnetic sign material and the fabric goes under the fairing and lower tank plastic. Pretty much any material can get the job done and add style or accent to your bike. 3. The hard bag has had LEDs installed under the red lens in the back, hooked to the tail light. 4. Flush mount turn signals and running lights for the front. 5. I designed a shelf above the the tach and speedo that mounts a voltmeter and ambient temps gages, and a gear indicator. I now have a place for the TomTom Rider 2!

You see! That's why I'm always conscious of what's behind my bike when I take a picture. :green_lol:
Looks like you favor the color red? :beatnik:

Seca 550 in background?

Yes, my Brother-in-law's 550. Pretty decent shape 'cept for the old gas he left in the carbs. One of my tasks to clean the carbs thoroughly in the Spring for his return from Europe. I tried to buy it but he has dreams of riding again (last was in 2001?). I might still prevail, make a nice round-towner.

There is a family's household stuff in the garage while they are away in Europe, as well as a 2004 Miata, my 84 Honda VF500 Electric conversion (72volts - pretty slick), the Red Seca, and of course my proudly red accented V-strom. More red to come I am sure, maybe the rear caliper. Had they offered Red in the 1K in 2009 I would have a red strom with black accents ;-)
