So it's coming up this weekend...

Who is going?

Will there be a big V-Strom presence?

The extended forcast (for what it is worth) calls for partly cloudy temps low of 51 and high of 68... Will the weather be cooperative?

Hmmm.....

yes, quite a few stroms. Actaully quite a few of everything and anything two-wheeled under the sun.

I will ride rain or shine. It is more than worth it.

Yup, well worth it. I was at the fall event last year.....

I am looking foward to a "Gathering of the Strom".

I am leaving from Richmond IL, following along with some other riders.

I will look for the tallest helmets when I get up there...

I know of some Strommers from another forum getting together around 9 am at the Parkway Resturant in Madison. Off of the beltline 12/18, not more than a block off, can't miss it. Good, fast, cheap food. Then off to Pine Bluff.

What a great time....

This was my second Slimey Crud Run. The weather, people and roads where great. To those who chose not to go you missed out big time.

I put on 375 miles and was gone for just under 12 hours.

Whoo hah... this day was just another of the many reason it wonderful to be on a motorcycle.

The new machine was a dream, but I proved to myself I need more experience.

Put this on your list must do's. The next one is the 1st Sunday in October.

I had a great time even with my tight schedule. Weather could not have been better, I just wish I had a bit more time to meet everyone I missed. It was good to see BJ again and meet Mr. and Mrs. Forgefan. I even had a small chat with PeterE himself.

My best part was the ride from PB to Leland. I started off solo but after a few miles I had a gentleman on a brand new r1200s in tow. Damn nice ride that is!! We hit every ultra curvy hilly back hollow road to Spring Green and then took "C" to Leland. Good thing for good brakes on more than 3 occasions.

btw one of our local Stromers had some pretty bad luck on his way home.
