Good experience with Dualsport Plus shop

Rode the Wee down to Dualsport Plus in Stoney Creek Ontario with 3 friends.

They have a good stock of Wee farkles and the staff were very helpful and knowledgeable.

I was able to offer up 3 different brands of bash plates to my machine. Catharine also invited me back into the Service Department where mechanic Rick showed me his Wee and was happy to answer any of my questions – very helpful.

Overall Impression: Good inventory of Wee accessories, friendly and knowledgeable staff – a positive experience.

DSP also does mailorder and pulled off an impressive overnight shipment when my friend’s KLR went down on a trip to Baja.

Always great to hear stories like that. Good on them!

On the opposite side of the coin....

I recently emailed the parts dept of a Wpg suzuki dealer, using the sites provided form.

2 days later I got an auto reply stating how important my business is and that a "parts specialist" would reply within 24 hrs. That was almost 2 wks ago.

Once again, another good reason I buy 99% of my bike needs online from the US. Wish it didnt have to be that way, but....:headbang:

Cheers!

+1 Dual Sports +; I just mail ordered Heidenaue K60 Scouts for the Wee, and they came through slick. Bought my Scorpion Commander jacket at their booth at moto show in TO. Very nice patient people to deal with. They walk the talk too.

Not such a good experience for me? I bought a few things last year and they were not really friendly. On the other hand I went to Viscious Cycle and they are real enthusiasts and bend over backwards with help and advice so that is where I buy now.

aVicious cycle is great... Eric and his wife are awesome... However, they are more expensive than Dual Sport plus... and they don't have a mechanic on staff like Rick at Dual Sport... I buy from both all the time...

Not sure I agree on the relative pricing of A Vicious Cycle and Dualsports - I've found AVC to be cheaper. I just got a quote from AVC on a full set of TraX side cases, top case and hardware, and it included some attractive discounts from their posted prices (which were already lower than Dualsports) for the package, so it might be worth asking about the available pricing. But, as in all things, YMMV.
