Avoid cycle world in rosedale md. I have multiple bad experiences there. I need to find a good alternative and don't have a suggested shop for you to go to. I'm thinking about taking my bike to pete's cycle on bel air road for my valve adjustment. If it was an older bike I'd try to do it myself, but I haven't done it before and don't trust myself with possibly ruining a new bike.

Pete's in Bel Air does not have the tool to re-flash the ECU according to the service guy I spoke with, and from speaking with him it did not seem like he had worked on many Stroms. I didn't get the " oh yeah, those bikes have this and this that needs to be done and this and that fixes it " . I got more of a blank look. I have not used them so I can't say anything first hand. Maybe their other dealer will be more knowledgeable.

I checked the valves on mine just last week. It was no big deal. They were in spec so it was not as involved as having to adjust them.

I'm pretty religious about taking my bikes to C&L Cycles in Eldersburg if it's something I can't figure out myself, just 30mins. west of the city. Brian (one of the owners and head of the shop) is meticulous about doing an excellent job and just doing what the customer ask of him. He'll tell you what you have left on the brakes, tires, etc. and if he sees anything else going will let you know, allowing you to make the choice.

His pricing isn't outrageous either.. like any other mom and pop shop, he's in it cause it's something he loves to do. On the same token, the more people you recommend to him and the more stuff you purchase the pricing tends to decrease out of his appreciation for the recommendations and as a thank you. Nothing significant, but every bit counts.;)

Honestly can't say I've had one bad experience I've had with him or the company. Never felt like I've been taken for a ride or anything. Wish I could find a auto mechanic the same way around here.

Not the best website but here it is... http://www.candlcycles.com/
