To Answer my own question.
The holiday park now has only 2 standard cabins left for those 2 nights.

Hi All
Have just spoken to the Roundabout hotel Gloucester to try and get a room and they have advised they are all booked. They asked if anyone is cancelling can you please let them know.
They also advised that there are many twin/family rooms with only one person booked in, so if anyone is prepared to share a room put up a post.
For the campers they also have a grassed area out the back with access to showers that they are prepared to have people set up tents on for $10 a night, so if anyone is camping they can set up close to the action.
Should be a great weekend, they have an extensive wine list, craft beers on tap and the weather is good (but chilly of an evening) :hurray:
See you up there, Regards Bruce (aka Brucestrom)

Hi P38
I am up for sharing for Friday and Saturday if that is OK.
Will split the costs.
Did you find out where you are staying?, I think the Roundabout may have mentioned they have a Ron there.
Best Regards Bruce (aka Brucestrom)

Beds available at the Roundabout Hotel

There are beds available plus camping areas available with own amentities at the Roundbout Hotel
I just spoke with Adrian from the Hotel and he said there were rooms taken up with extra beds and only 1 person.

wobbly's room (I've got the Double bed:mrgreen:) but theres a single and a trundel (aparently that's a bed that slides under another)

In Terry's kato-strom, room (theres 3 singles avail plus a trundel)

so I've just made 4 + 2 trundels avail if anyone wants them + split costs.

BYO ear plugs:green_lol:

Theres 4 other rooms with spare beds.....but no pressure given just yet.

Cheers

My room may become available.

I was putting my car engine back together and inadvertently dragged one of the aluminium cylinder heads across the head studs, scoring across the new machined head surface right at the fire ring. I've had to take the head back to be resurfaced. :headbang:

That's going to slow down getting it back together ready for an upcoming holiday.

Wobbly, if I don't come, I'll ask AstroBob to fix you up for dinner. I can fix Bob up.

Accomodation

Hi thunderdownunder
. See Dave's post above I now appear to have the biggest room at the roundabout with plenty spare beds, one of the singles now taken but still 2 x singles and a trundle avail so one is yours if you want it ( for a ride on a farkled V2 you can have the double that I was going to grab:thumbup:)
Anyway a beds yours and given the forcast think we are all going to need a dry place so any other takers most welcome, probably also fit a few on the floor if need be.
Regards

Good news! The heads were re-machined and we had them back on by 5.30 pm.

I'll ride over to where the car is tomorrow and hopefully get the inlet and exhaust manifolds back on, the LPG system reconnected, radiator in, air con back on, new exhaust system fitted and be operational by Thursday. If that happens, I'll get to Gloucester.

Only for my friends!

OK, I have confirmed I have a family room, one double (mine), a single, and a trundle. Brucestrom has dibs on the single so if anyone needs a trundle, it's up for grabs.
