Hi guys
Since I had bought one I thought I'd let you know they do work well and clear tank, and would be easy to remove for fueling and to lock back on.

But the map compartment is no good for the HEMA motorcycle atlas, it doesn't fit inside the compartment.

The guys at Springwood Suzuki were great about it and gave me a refund.

I'd like a tank bag and my aldi one off the gs500 doesn't go on the 2012dl

Does anyone know if the atlas fits in the T489tanklock

Hi gotawee, welcome. When planning a decent trip I like to take my hema to the library and blow up my intended route to A3 and just fold to suit the map holder /then highlight intended route etc--adds to the anticipation of the ride.

I got the daypack II with map holder on Saturday just waiting for the tank ring as the older model rings don't fit the new 2012.

Hi BioStrom
For GIVI go to Giviusa.com it's a BF01 but I retuned the GIVI tankbag and got the bags connection Daypack II as it holds the HEMA Atlas.

The ring for the bags connection Daypack II arrived yesterday.
I mounted the bag lastnight it is all good.
I'll post the ring details/part number for this when i get home tonight.

Can take photo's if you like as well.

Cheers Gotawee

I think the kit code is TRT.00.640.10200/B this is number on instructions for install.

Individual components numbers are

The Daypack II is BC.TRS.00.008.80000
The Quicklock EVO tank ring code is TRT.00.640.12500/B
The mounting plate/EVO Topring is TRT.00.640.500
The drill template is TRT.00.640.027
The map holder is BCK.MHE5111

Photos of bag mounted, tank ring mounting plate, tank ring and map holder.

The daypack is expandable aswell.

Hope this helps

Today I went and bought the new Givi T480 Tankbag from my local Suzuki dealer and they fitted the tank ring for me so that I could try it on the bike to see if it was going to block anything....all good!!

I rode home with it on the bike and didn't seem that it would hamper any movement or vision although getting used to something sitting up in front of me might take a little time.

It's got a very wide and deep map area up top with an indent for GPS and my 4.3inch Garmin Nuvi fitted like a glove...perfect!!

Jeez this bag is gunna be able to hold some serious stuff but I don't think I'll ever need to use the expanded option.

Got it for $180 fitted....but I think that's because I'm a regular:mrgreen:

Didn't buy from this place but it's got a pic of it:
