I'm about to order an e45 case to replace my tiny givi knockoff. I'm looking for an adapter place that will mount the box further back to give the pssenger more room. The only one I can find is one at Adventure motostuff. Any others I should be looking at? Has any of you guys used this one? Anything good or bad to say?

Just buy the Givi base plate,it has a waffle type patern with probably 30 holes or so.You can mount it as far forward or back as you want.I moved mine back about 2 inches before a 4,000 mile 2 up trip a couple summers ago.

I've got a v46 and that plate. Its not bad. It is super easy to shift it forward and backwards, just four allen head screws. You get about 2 inches of adjustment. The wife has plenty of room on the pillion when its all the way back. The stock rubber pads that go between the box and the adapter plate need changing tho as they are too firm and too small allowing it to rattle a bit, but thats not a big deal. The only thing I am halfway nervous about is the base plate has pressed-in anchor nuts, which over time can loosen and make it very difficult to move the adapter plate around. BUT, I picked it up second hand, and the guy before me had it on his bike for a a few years before I picked it up, and the nuts are holding strong.
