Anybody else have a set of Givi E41 bags that the main lock mechanism to open the bag sticks? The tongue in groove locking mechanism sticks really badly and I have to remove the bags and play with them to get them to open. They stick so badly I'm afraid I'm going to snap the lock trying to get the tongue in groove to let go.

I called Givi and they said if I lubed them with a teflon type lubricant, it wouldn't hurt them.

Anybody else have a good solution to get them to open without the fight?

I used a Silicon spray that I bought at Lowes. Worked well. Fixed the problem on mine.

Well, uh, have you tried a good teflon type lubricant?

I usually use Triflow on lock cylinders and such. It won't hurt the plastic bits either.
