Has anyone had a problem with the crashbars buzzing at around 6000rpm?

Yes, initially, mine did that. The metal spacer they provide in the kit is too long and it doesn't pull the two halves together enough. I just filed down both sides a very small amount and put it back in. About 3 hours of riding today and no buzz, 0-redline.

I did that last night as well, but didn't get a chance to try it out. Hope it works for me too.

the easiest fix is to tighten the bolt connecting the bars, the one under the cooler. It does that when it's not tight enough.
Even better, remove bolt, add some rubber (i.e. from a bicycle inner tube) and re tighten.

I found that, for my install, the bolt was more than tight. But the metal cylinder spacer was too long and didn't let the gap close enough no matter how much I cranked on the bolt. Instead of over-doing it, I just solved the source of the problem.

I had read somewhere, probably here, that a little clear silicone on the bolt/spacer before installation would fix any buzzing. I did that, and have not had any issues.

As a point of clarification, are talking about an audible buzz, or a vibration? My bike (maybe Givi, maybe not) has vibrations at 5-6k (peaks at 5.5k), but has never buzzed.

The buzz is very audible, if I reach down and grab the left side it stops. I still haven't had a chance to ride it since I shortened the spacer but I will let you all know in a day or two.

I'll be throwing on the Shinkos pretty soon. I doubt they will cause the Givi bars to start rattling after I fixed the problem. Right now I'm riding on a squared-off Tourance* and when I turn (onto the tire's barely used outer edge) it's like riding on knobbies - I can feel the rumble of the raised tread on the road surface.

I understand what you are saying, but when I put my feet on the highway pegs both the audible and felt vibrations stop. The trail wings didn't do it.

I got a chance to ride into work yesterday and the noise is gone. There is still a bit of vibration between 6000 and 6500 but the bars don't make any noise now.
