I have searched the forums a few times but haven't been able to find a proven way to dampen the vibrations from the givi crash bars. I hadn't noticed until recently, then they started to rattle in the front. I am assuming that the vibrations wore something down in the front where the bars connect and caused the rattle. I put a rubber washer on the front part of the bars but it didn't entirely fix the problem.

Has anyone found a way to dampen the vibes effectively? Is there something I can put in the bars themselves (ie foam) that will help? I would hate to have to take these off and waste $130, but the vibes and rattle are beginning to bother me a lot. :?

I spooged a bunch of silicone seal in the ends of the tubes before I put them together. Nary a vibe or noise from them. 8)

Got some silicone and will put that in there. What about spray foam like great stuff or DAP Tex? I was thinking of spraying some of that up into the tubes to help with vibrations, good idea?
