I bought my Wee the last week in April of 07 and as of today I have 14,000 miles on it. I can foresee in a fairly short time accumulating many miles and was wondering what you folks who have many miles on your bikes have done as far as major repairs. such as top end re-builds or anything like that. I know a fellow who told me the bike should have new pistons rings and valves twice by 100, 000 miles I sure hope not. btw the more I ride the wee the more i fall in love with it my girl friend runs a close second though thanks wilbur-j

I put 135k on a SV650, never doing anything more than the maintenance schedule in the owners manual, minor oil hange service every 3500-4000, intermediate service, plugs/carb sync every 7500 and major sevice, valve inspection every 15k, valves were adjusted twice, first time @ 75k service, second time at the 120k service

@ 135k, starting to use oil, piston, rings, bottom end all within service limits, valve guides & cam chains were thoroughly worn
