I just want to confirm that this is the plug that powers the rear brake and that the Eastern Beaver Rear Brake Light Switch Connector plugs into. Its under the tank that is under the rear of the gas tank.

There is also a small plug that is very handy that sends power to the license plate light. It is a smaller plug but seems much easier to get to. Would that be suitable trigger for relay?

By the way, I'm somewhat colour blind so telling me certain colour wires are the ones doesn't help me a lot, that's why I want to check based on the location.

Thanks!

..Tom

That's it. O/G is ignition on power and W/B is brake light hot. The EB connector takes the power off the O/G to the trigger wire.

About a 9.5 on the PITA meter

This is a rite of passage...fool with the tank, find the damned connector, fiddle with the connector to break it, take God's holy name in vain multiple times before ot's all back together. Hope i can remeber how all the panels go back together.
