Curious how some of you have dealt with adapting your Garmin 2610 GPS. I currently have the cig lighter (with speaker), 12/24v adapter cord. Is there a cig lighter thingy without the speaker, or better yet - a cord that I could run direct to the battery?

Thanks, JB

Yes Powerlet makes several power cords for the 2610.

I carry one but it's got a Powerlet Plug for a socket.

You want the PPC-003-DB direct to battery 60" fused harness.

All of the Powerlet cords for the 2610 have a wire with socket for the audio but no speaker.

No speaker but it does have a plug for audio. Garmin is REAL proud of them though given their price. They can be had cheaper at other places. It appears to be the same cable as is used on the all th e26xx/27xx/28xx devices and I think I paid about $25 for the cable for my 2810.
