Hey guys, I thought I would share how I like to open the garage on my bike. I have a rather steep driveway, so I like to keep both hands on the bars when I come up the curb and climb the drive. Enough ramble, basically, when I give the horn a short blip, the garage opens. The opener is under the seat, and it is triggered by the contacts in the relay. It requires you to de-solder the switch from the garage opener and solder in (2) 3-4 ft wire leads. The leads run up basically in front of the handle bars.

The relay sits in the LH plastics

Here are the soldered leads on the horn

I placed the horn leads in a piece of vacuum tube and ran it in front of the gas tank near the intake behind the triple. it ends up near the front cylinder pair valve tube by the horn.

The other 2 wires get routed along the frame and lead under the seat where the opener lives.

I apologize for the lack of thumbnails, as I cannot seem to get them to work properly. I like this system, because the horn cannot be honked without the key on, so it can essentially be left in the driveway and one can just push a button to open your garage.

I solved this by velcroing my remote garage door opener to my tank bag. It works from about 100 yards away.
