Ok so here's my question. I love my anakee 2's but want something different atleast to run out my front tire. So I like the look of full bore adventure and price is nice also. I ride dirt/gravel roads and lots of asphalt moderate aggresive at times nothing stupid, so users will the full bores be ok or will they kill me lol?

I have 2.5-3mm of tread left on my stock T-wings and will be getting the full bores this spring once riding season starts again.

I have read up on them and they seem to be very similar to the Shinko 705 in handling with slightly larger gaps in the tread. Should do me well for my highway, hill and forest road riding plans:)

I have over 3,000 miles on a set so far. I had Anankee 2s before. I get 15,000 miles out of the Anakees. This was twice in a row for 30,000 miles so that tells how I ride. The Full Bores work better on gravel and the dirt. I think I will get 10,000 miles out of them. They make more noise. The front wails at 40 mph. Slow down or speed up and the wail goes away. Good tire for the price. Oh when brand new they they handle a little squirrely for a few hundred miles.

I have a pair of K60 I bought used from Stokedsteve on Advrider. They have 800 miles on them. I hope to see how long they last. I have over 43,000 miles on my Wee. Hope I keep it longer. I'm getting the itch for something with more ground clearance.

Fullbores are good tires

With normal riding, bike not loaded up all the time, you should get at least 7K miles out of your rear Full Bore M40 adventure touring tire. I got 6.6K with a lot of touring in the mix. I had no problems with this tire, wet or dry surfaces.

My front Full Bore adventure touring tire has 5,000 miles on it and it seems to have zero wear on it, I kid you not. This isn't because the rubber is too hard, either; I can flex the surface of the knobs by running a finger over them with firm pressure, and I have total confidence in them in hard fast turns -- I'm hardly a squid, but I've scraped the pegs a few times in the mountains around here, sometimes inadvertently.

While they're a significant improvement in dirt and hardpack gravel over the OEM Trailwings, which in my experience are little better than slick pure pavement tires, the Full Bores are certainly not dirt tires. I'd say they're 75/25 street to dirt. Of course when you go off pavement that 25% is a hell of a lot better than nothing.

BTW, I didn't notice any squirrely behavior at the outset -- maybe because I purposely ran them around some deep dirt after mounting them to get the mold release off -- nor do I notice any whine at speed.

I've written a few times on this BB about my Fullbore tires thus far. Suffice to say, I'm more than impressed that such an inexpensive tire can punch way above it's weight class. It was relatively late in the season before the snows came that I'd really settled to rely on the nice steering and grip on tarmac, and it's very forgiving grip on dirt roads and general clowning around. Sure, the best you have is the best you know - so take that for what it's worth - I really like these tires front and rear. I dare say I'm just as tenacious around corners as I was on my Bridgestone Battlewings, and on the dirt, it's not even close! I'd not hesitate to get em again, unless some new new for 2014/15 tire comes along and catches my eye....

I really like mine. I have a few hundred on them so far. The initial turn in was quick but they are starting to settle down. They are much better than the trail wings off road.
