I have a 04 V I have the bike a little over a month and have noticed that mainly after a ride there is a fuel odor in the area of the left rear of the fuel cap. No visable signs of leaks seems worse after a ride. Fuel cap seal appears to be ok no rips or tears. Do these bikes have fuel venting issues? possible pinched leaking fuel vapor lines or hose? I really enjoy this bike I have had a few and this is a nice fit for many reasons. Thanks in Advance!

odor

Add to that, gas tank sits over a very warm engine, gas expands as it's heated both by the engine and the sun on the tank, the pressure has to be vented, ie: odor. Normal.
