Somehow one of the previous owners of my bike messed up the fuel line retaining clip that is on the tank end (grey plastic thing that the fuel line should snap into. Anyhow, I have had the fuel line pop off twice on me and it was old after the first time. Does anyone know what part it is or if you can replace it? I MacGyvered it with some zip ties but I don't like that solution.

Thanks for any advice,
Chris

Had the same situation a few months ago. Can't buy them separate from the whole fuel line, which costs a fair bit. I was lucky in that my local bike wrecker was wrecking a gixxer and had its fuel line to hand, and could see it had the same clip. Bought the whole line (for lot less than new) and just took the clip off and put it on mine (the gixxer line had a right angle in it, so couldn't be used). So.….try a wreckers.

PS I did try automotive fuel injection specialists and car parts places, but all said nah, haven't seen one like that on a car….

Great thanks for the pointer GeradDeR. I was focused on finding just the clip, too close to the problem that I didn't think about the entire line. I looked up the line and ya $55! Plus I couldn't tell from the picture if it had the clip. I'll go the route you did and see if I can find a used part.

Thanks everyone.
