What is everybody learning about 50/50 tire choices on the big Vee?

I have the Mitas E07 Dakar's mounted front and rear right now, and in general I love them. It is nearing time to change out the front though (I put a new E07 Dakar on the rear already - there is a bout 5000kms left on the front) and I want to go with something maybe a little more aggressive up front as I do spend a fair amount of time on gravel, and in dirt/mud with the big girl.

What are your thoughts?

More aggressive than a e07.

Could go for the usual suspects
Tkc 80s
Kenda big block
Maybe metzler Karoo3

The new anakee wild looks good but crazy expensive

IMHO....stick with the Mitas, they really are the best for what sounds like how you ride. You could give the Shinko 805/804 a try, but the Mitas is slightly more aggressive.

By the way, the Mitas E-07 Dakar is an extra stiff sidewall tire for protection where it is needed. 4 ply sidewalls, vs. (I think) 3 ply in the ordinary E-07

Michelin Anakee Wild is a radial knobby.

I am currently runing Mitas E07 Dakars front and back after Heidi 60s.
Love the Mitas rear but the Heidi was a lot better handling on the gravel and dirt roads so I now have a Mitas rear and Hiedi front on order.
