Are the front sprockets the same size between the two bikes? Just wondering if I was to put a 1000 16t sprocket on my 650.

Cheers

Not sure if they are interchangeable, shaft size may be different? But since a 1000 doesn't come with a 16 tooth countershaft sprocket it doesn't matter. Stock is a 17 tooth.

For a Suzuki 16T front sprocket that fits, get one from a GSXR600, part number 27510-20A1.

The reason I ask is I am buying some goods off a fellow rider and they are also offering me a new DL1000 16t sprocket. I will buy it if it fits my bike.

I don't want to get stuck with a sprocket that doesn't fit and then have to sell it.... Kind of like what I'm doing with my Corbin seat right now....

edit: the two links below appear to indicate that they are the same sprocket for both bikes for both the inside and outside spline measurements.
