And I found two more on the Bell's Line on the way back down, one hiding and a bright green HWP going the other way just as I dropped back from a "quick pass" of three 4WD's towing trailers loaded with trail bikes.Lucky boy, Graham.
Yesterday, on the ride to Dubbo, I blasted off from the side of the road get going before a semi arrived and to catch up to the others. As luck would have it, coming the other was was a bright green Highway Patrol car in the middle of a stream of traffic. I checked the speed but was only doing about 75 in the 60 zone. Fortunately, we turned off less than a km up the road so if he turned around he probably went straight ahead. I think he did as we saw him in Bathurst while we were getting lunch.
Then today on the way back from Dubbo, I slowed after we left Ilford (heading towards Capertee) as I expected a HWP car on that road on Sunday. I was not disappointed - coming the other way was one of the bright blue ones. OckerStrom was behind me so we both made it through unscathed. There was a HWP car on the same section of road when Ocker and I rode back from Rylstone after a previous Strommer trip.
Hardly any traffic on the way down BTW Ron, hope you guys weren't held up too much over on the other side of the hill.
Graham, you are right about both the menu and the view there.
