So I got my frame sliders last week and installed them the other night. Thanks Blair.

One section of the instructions go as follows:
"The smaller spacer goes on the right side and the larger spacer goes on the left side, with the Single Large Washer included going between it and the special Suzuki engine bolt."

Since I removed the long bolt through the engine mount from the bike in the first step, I'm assuming the washer goes inside the spacer against the engine mount that remains.

Is this correct?

Did you order the slider kit for use with crash bars? With those kits, the added parts are inboard of the guards and the any old parts between the guard and the frame are removed.

*** Edited by Blair. Hi Good brother, I edited the post to reflect the installation on the latest Frame Slider Kits,

Thank you and best regards to all,

:) Hi, it is always best to Email me Directly on the installation of the new Frame Sliders, [email protected]

You have the installation correct in your photo.

The Engine Mount on the right side is the special Suzuki Bolt and the Large Washer goes into the frame immediately up against it.

Then the spacer you show goes into the frame against it and the crash bar tab sits against it,

Your SV Racing Parts Frame Sliders included a new Hardened Steel Through Bolt that slides right through.

The Threaded Posts screw on and sit against the outside of the tabs on the crash bars in your case.

Remember that Blue Loctite is your friend, use it on all bolt threads and tighten the two post up by turning them against each other until they are good and snug and done, No need to go gorilla, resist the urge to give it one more big Umphhhh....... once you know that they are already tight,

Make sure that the smaller washer is on the bolt that you use to install the Frame Slider puck and use a drop of blue Loctite.

If you need me to give you a quick call to help you out, Email me at [email protected] with your contact phone number and I will be happy to give you a quick call and get you looked after right away,

Enjoy the ride, and best regards,
Blair

I understand now.

I thought the bolt that I removed with 17mm wrenches at first was the Special Suzuki Bolt.

If you're interested, I did take pictures from start to end of the process.
(Application of Blue Threadlocker included.)
