I bought and installed the double. Hooked one up battery direct and one to ignition (through the Eastern Beaver box) Mounted it in the black plastic near the speedo. Looks great and cost only $17. Made for boats so it should last.

I have all of the voltage reduction in my tank bag. I just plug in the tank bag.
I have a Sirius radio (5 volts) Radar detector (12volts) and a small audio amp (12 volts) in the bag. I took apart the cig lighter plug for the Sirius and stole the voltage drop board out of it and then wired everything direct. The sirius antenna and detector are velcroed on top. This way, I can just slap on the magnetic bag, plug it in, insert earplug/speakers and ride. If I put the rain hat over the bag it is pretty stealthy.
I will post some pictures when I get it complete (I have only had this bike for 2 weeks)
