Tire Wheel Fuel tank Vehicle Sky

2012, 9300 miles, several extras. Properly cared for, recent service and fresh fluid change, new Battleax tires.
Pristine condition!
Givi Airflow, Happy Trails SU racks, tool tube, peg lowering kit, Happy Trails center stand, USB/12v plug, air horn, 3 way hyperlights, Dan Vesel backrest, small Givi top case.
Had a couple rides, 186 miles on local backroads.
Absolutely great.

Congrats on your L2 Glee ownership. Maybe a word of advice, do test the ABS brake function. Not to say that there is anything wrong with the ABS on your ride, but there have previously been a few reports of ABS failure on this generation.
The test is easy to do yourself and is good as a practice. ABS preventative maintenance
A few examples of reported ABS failure: ABS Warning light. ABS non-Functioning, ABS malfunction, HELP! ABS module is dead, ABS Pump/Module faulty - options and Abs problem to name a few.

That looks like a great find, but someone has removed the plastic guard that sits in front of the oil filter. Maybe not an issue if you stick to pavement, but if you're going to be off-pavement at all, I'd recommend something to protect, at a bare minimum, the oil filter. With it's out-front placement on the Vstrom, it can be damaged by rocks coming off your front tire.

My '13 was the same way. I don't think these had a plastic guard in front of the oil filter.
That looks almost identical to the bike I picked up last week. Mine is a 2013 with just under 8k miles. It's pretty much stock -- even the tires. a new set is on the way.

My '13 650 came with one, I only took it off when I added the proper skid plate. I bought the bike second hand though, I supposed it could have been something the PO added.

I was just looking at parts diagrams, and there is an optional one. That must have been what was on yours.

Previous owner had just replaced these. Also did a service with fluid change. Buy and ride!
