I received my rebuilt rear shock from Sasquatch and purchased a new set of RaceTech fork springs from Jay as well. I'm just going with new springs and fork oil (he recommended ATF)

Before I start measuring/cutting the aluminum spacer tube, I'd like to know what length others used?

On my 1000 I took the stock spring and spacer and made the new spring and spacer the same length.
Havent had a chance to test ride yet, but will then decide to go taller or shorter later.

It's probably too long. Because stiffer springs need less static preload than the soft stockers you generally use a shorter total spring/spacer length with the better springs. See the Note A section of this article for directions on determining the correct spacer length.
