Installed a Richland Rick fork brace on my 2014 DL650. I read many forums on several ADV sites and there is no consensus on exactly what it does, but many lean towards better handling at highway speeds. That's where I found the sweet spot: In rush hour traffic60-70 mph on I-5 I am subject to a lot of turbulence and my bike handling felt loose from it. After installing the brace I felt the buffeting but the bike didn't. In the words of other riders, the bike felt more planted. I didn't feel much difference at lower speeds but at lower speeds there isn't much vibration or handling issues that need taming. In short, it was a low cost, easy install and good result venture.
