After removing the triple clamp to move the cables I'd like to make sure the forks are in proper alignment. Anyone know the Allen and nut size of the front axle. My owners manual just says it's available at the Suzuki dealership. Not too helpful.

A 15/16" hex fits the front axle. Amazon sells a hex bit that size for $11.59, probably also available locally at a similar price.

I picked up 5/8" threaded rod coupler at Home Depot for around $6.00
The OD is an exact fit for the 15/16" female hex nut side of the axle.
Use a 15/16" socket on the coupler and that side is good to go.
The other side is a 30mm nut.

I know it's real old but thanks for the useful info about the coupler!

Motion Pro, Cycle Gear and several other sell a 17,19,22 & 24 combo Allen head spindle tool. This will work 99% of the wheels you'll ever encounter that uses a hex wrench to remove the axle. For between $9 and $20 defending of if steel is okay or if you desire lighter aluminum.
