They are wired with the diode off my high beams and switched on low beams. Switched while on low beams is fine, but the started flickering and had a clicking noise while high beams were on. Hoping it is maybe the diode? I saw that someone said the one on the original wiring diagram was too small. 1n914?

A bad ground? It's mo bettah to wire stuff separately rather than string stuff along.
Unless you have an Eastern Beaver light mod, the power to the head lights goes through the switches and the contacts are marginal.

Lone circuit from aux fuse box, but the diode is in place to tie to high beams. Just a switch going to a relay. Power is clean from battery/fuse box.
