A few weeks ago I was reading a tank bag thread and someone mentioned the Africa twin specific Givi fit our Suzukis. I never heard back from the guy who posted that it works if you rotate the mounting ring on the bag 90 degrees. Asked some questions on the Africa Twin forum for some measurements (Not much help there), dropped a couple of lines to Givi and they said NO...it only fits the Africa Twin.

So, I figured it was going to work Perfectly!

Ordered the bag from Fortnine (Canadian Revzilla), it arrived about two hours ago and it was very, very easy to fit to a 2017 Wee. No need to rotate anything. Just take a dremel, grind off a bit of plastic in the way and you are good to go.
The reason I wanted this bag is that it is 15 litres, has a sloped design, uses the Givi mount which I estimate to be the easiest on and off and has a wider base than the much more expensive Motech (more stability theoretically) . The other plus is that it expands more than most other bags, going up to 23 litres. the XS320 is also relatively narrow at the lower front area, so it does not interfere with the steering. I appears to graze my LED dimmer knob, but shouldn't be a problem. I'm going to put some 3M clear tape under the area it might touch my tank. My plan to add to it is to get another mounting ring and adapt that to a set of back pack straps, so I will have something I can hike with when I am off the bike.
In the photos below I am pointing to the two areas you need to grind. The pen is pointing to one of two areas you need to enlarge so that the bag can clear the supplied spacers and rotate enough to fit straight front to rear. DO a little bit at a time till it lines up.
The drill bit is pointing to some very small triangles that fit in the steel Vstrom anchor ring. Just get rid of these and smooth it out.

Managed to get the second phase done this afternoon. Was very easy. I had a counterfeit North Face Mini Recon bag I bought at a flea market. Cut it open, positioned the ring where I thought it would be comfy.... and got lucky because it feels just like a normal pack sack. the Givi xs 320 conforms to the shape of my back and waist. The straps are pretty minimalist on this bag too, so it should roll up nice and be easy to store. This might be a good item for anyone with a Givi bag. To me a tank bag/pack sack combo is a no brainer.

Nicad, thanks for the write up and the photos. I was having a tough time finding the dimensions of the 320 as it isn't listed on Givi's site but found them on Amazon and verified its slightly less than the 308 and it may suit my needs as well. I just don't see me using the second map pouch or the 308's removable fanny pack but the extra side pockets look handy. Can you shoot a pic of the ring/mount on the bike now that its complete? Just wanted to know what the finished product looked like after the mod. Thanks in advance.

I'll do that in a few days. Hopefully by the end of next week when I get a chance to put it back together.

Silly question: Will that Givi tankbag ring from a Yamaha fit a Suzuki gas cap? I have one left over from my previous bike.

Not sure. I ordered the Givi 320 and a tank ring for the Vstrom from the online supplier (fortnine). I assume the ring that came with the bag was for the Africa Twin. In my package for the Vstrom tank bag all they had was bolts, spacers and the metal upper part, so not sure if they pulled the plastic ring from the package.
