Took me a while, but I finally finagled my way to owning an 05 WeeStrom! Bought it yesterday and got a heck of a deal from a really great guy. Now I can properly tour in comfort and take those long dirt roads my SV was just not made for.

The bike was in great condition and came with some nice farkles. Now if I could only get some more vacation time off from work! :frown:

Just took a short ride and I notice the low beams are as bright as most bikes high beams!! Is this normal? I remember reading people saying the Vstrom lights were good, but are they so good stock that you're lighting up stop signs?!

Has it been lowered? The lights are great but if it's been lowered and the headlights haven't been adjusted then they might be aimed too high.

As far as I know and was told, it was not lowered. I think perhaps they just need to be re-aimed. I'll have to take a look at the owners manual to see how that's done. Hopefully it isn't too labor intensive.
