Includes mounting bracket and all hardware. No damage other than cosmetic. Nothing some paint wouldn't cover.

IMHO the best skid plate made for the V Strom. I can't tell you about the 1000 fitment, but I did swap my Enduro Guardian from my 1st Gen 09 650 Wee to my Gen 3 650 XT with no issues.

If I remember correctly, and that's a BIG IF the only difference on the first Gen 650 & 1000 skid plates is that the aft bolt that attaches the skid plate to the bracket on the left was shorter to clear the exhaust.

As far as the 2014, it looks like the aft mount bracket is different, so maybe someone else with a 1000 can chime in with fitment for other Gen 1000s
