I've got my new Glee opened up in the garage. I have run the wiring (Eastern Beaver PC8 and headlight with one cut-out relay and rear lights lead). I'm left with a few questions.
1) what's the wiring diagram for the DPST rocker switch?
there are five blade terminals but only four wired on the harness (2 yellow, two white)
2) what amp fuse should run the headlight harness?

Thanks tons for any help!!

A DPST switch makes/breaks two wires. See Contura DPST On/Off Amber Rocker Switch Tab Assignments: at Extras
You probably have the switch on the right.

2 - circuit one input
3 - circuit one output
5 - circuit two input
6 - circuit two output
7 - amber light ground

If that is the case, put the two yellows on 2 and 3, the two whites on 5 and 6 and run 7 to ground for the light. If you'd rather have the ligh on the the other beam, switch the yellow and white wires. If the light doesn't work, swap 5 and 6.

You want a 15A fuse as that is the maximum the PC-8 can handle and using the flash to pass switch lights both beams at once.

I don't understand the one cutout relay bit. A DPST switch is not a relay but a direct switch and cuts out both lights. An SPST switch is for one light.

I didi this quick and dirty so I hope it's right. If not, I'm sure somebody will follow up.

so far....

Thanks for the links, I have been looking that over and apparently I have to choose whether to have the LED light on when the high beam OR the low beam is on. I do have the switch pictured on the right. The switch performs (kills one headlamp when switched ON for both high and low), but I don't get LED on when either the high or low are one - depends on whether the yellow pair or white pair are connected to posts 5 and 6.
If I swap the negatives for the yellow circuits and white (in yellow out white and vice versa for switch two), I get the kill switch LED to light in either high or low, but I figure running that kind of a circuit is bad ju-ju.
I also saw the small print that you must run a ground to have any LED work at all - I had to figure that out the long way with a current meter.
I just wanted to know if I'm doing this right. I bit off an awful lot for the first week with the Glee!

Now i'm figuring out which one is better to have the light on. I run with high beams in the daytime regardless, so the reminder that the "two bulbs are on in daytime is a waste" might be good.
Thanks again!

spst and dpst switches

Greetings -- I have the AdvTech CREE running lights and the EB H4 Hi Beam Cut Adaptor. I also have the EB SPST toggle and the EB DPST toggle. I got the DPST toggle just in case I wanted to get fancy, but I'll save that for another day. I have two toggle switches for 2 separate lights which will work independently of each other. Simple. MY QUESTION: can I use the DPST toggle with 4 tabs as if it was an SPST toggle with 2 tabs? If so, please let me know which wire would i assign to which tab, etc. Regards
