I have just changed sprockets and chain - gone up to 530 size. The old OEM, thinner drive cog has rubber dampers on either side, whereas the new, thicker one has not. Teeth number are the same as stock. I have noticed a high-pitched metallic noise in top gear – I am sure it is coming from the front sprocket. A small increase in vibrations also seems to be noticeable. Been battling to find a 530 sprocket with the rubber bushes ... might have to try and have some made ... any body have any advice?
