I'll be pulling my '09 650A apart this Saturday the 13th, as it's time to check the valves. On the off chance that anyone is not out riding in this gorgeous weather, if you want to swing by, do some other wrenching, lend a hand, or point and laugh, let me know. I have a reasonable set of tools, and there would be more than enough room under the carport in the shade for another bike or two.

And I'll have some tasty, malty beverages.

Well, all of the valves came (just barely) within spec. All were on the tight side. almost 33K miles on the bike.

I get credit for showing up as you guys were heading out for burgers. :thumbup: I pulled the crankcase off the DR350 and have ordered new gaskets to keep from having the drippy-drip on the rear tire. There was a substantial amount of oil leaking.

I'm glad Sean made it home safely with all that oil dripping onto the rear wheel.
